To be absolutely honest with you, we can't really say that we're very impressed by the very large number of accessories for the Wiimote, Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers that have made their way onto the market over the past few years. Sure, some of them are fun, others might be even a tad useful, but the large majority are just pieces of plastic that rarely significantly improve the level of realism delivered by the games they're designed to “accessorize”.
To some extent, that's also the case with the particular device you'll read about as follows, namely the Boxing Gloves for the
PlayStation Move controllers, designed by the people over at
CTA Digital. Each glove has a velcro pouch on the inside of the palm where the PlayStation Move Controller or Navigation Controller fits securely. There are also adjustable Velcro straps located on the wrists so you can adjust them to fit just right.
These Gloves are padded and comfortable too, they're pretty lightweight, and they should easily fit any hand. Unfortunately, their use is rather limited (at least for the time being), since they only work with “The Fight: Lights Out” title for the
Move. But since we're likely to see many more such fighting-oriented games arrive on the market, the gloves from CTA Digital might prove to be quite interesting, ultimately (if they're not unreasonably priced, that is).
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is
