It's official: OCZ has fully joined the netbook market with its new Intel Atom-based notebook codenamed Neutrino. But when a company famous for its innovative approach such as OCZ Technology tries to enter an over saturated market, you can't help but wonder what they will bring new besides the usual attempt to attract through appearance.
Well, the Neutrino is aiming to attract every day users by excelling at doing things they normally do on a computer such as communications, visiting websites or reading eBooks. Its ability to give the user fast, reliable and varied functions is provided by the 2GB OCZ DDR RAM, integrated Intel 945GSE Graphics card, 250GB OCZ SSD and 10'' WVGA 1024x600 LED Backlight display. I'll not mention the Intel Atom N270 because you know it all too well already.

This netbook has 1 PCI-Express slot, 1 VGA port, 1 RJ-45port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 DC-in Jack, 1 Headphone jack, and a very friendly keyboard. It weighs only 2.86lbs and has a width and height of only 263 x 19.6 mm. It comes standard with a build-in 1.3MP camera with built-in microphone to be used with its 802.11 b/g standard Wireless connection. As stated above, it offers a complete and reliable solution to the average user's every day needs. And because most of its parts are made by manufacturer itself, you can expect above average performance.
Not happy with something and would like your Neutrino to be a little different? It will be available on the OCZ “do it yourself” program in order for users to create “their ideal netbook solution.” Fast and portable, small and powerful, the Neutrino is a refreshing take on the old and basically the same Intel-Atom based netbooks on this “too narrow to be different” market.
