If you were wondering about Asus, then here's another product from the company, namely the PL30JT Business Notebook. From what Alex told me, the notebook has the serious look in it, as in a more sober design that will not stand out, but neither will it pass unnoticed. What I am trying to say is that the PL30JT is both elegant and sober enough to be suitable for the business type.

Introducing the tech inside this, I should probably start with the Asus Turbo33 Technology the company claims to enhance performance by 33%, a value which is, of course, subject to the system configuration and prevailing usage. The heart of the PL30JT Business Notebook is one of Intel's latest Core i5, namely the i5-520UM processor, on the common already HM55 chipset aided by up to 4GB of DDR3 1066MHz of RAM.

With the Nvidia GeForce 310M with 1GB VRAM DDR3 and Intel's GMA HD graphics adapters, the PL30JT delivers content to the 13.3" slim-type LCD with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution. Judging by the specs, customers will be able to choose between glare and non-glare for the display of the PL30JT notebook.

What could a notebook possibly display if not content, and for that, users will take advantage of either 5400RPM SATA HDDs up to 640GB or 7200RPM models of up to 500GB. Just like many notebooks, the Asus PL30JT lacks an optical drive, and without that, it weighs a mere 1.7Kg, weight measured with an eight-cell battery.

Speaking of the battery, the PL30JT is estimated to operate wire-free for up to ten hours, but that is also dependent on the system configuration and usage. Last but not least, mind that this is one of those notebooks under 1-inch thick.
