Instead of getting more rechargeable batteries and special chargers, how would you like to charge your Wiimote with a PoweV Quad wireless charger from Konnet Technology? It certainly sounds easier to me. Not to mention a less intrusive solution. But then again, how often do you manage to discharge a Wii remote, does this event occur that frequently? Well, at least you now have
a more elegant option.
“The PowerV Quad lets you enjoy your Wii without the threat of losing remote power or having a cluttered living room,” says Christine Custodio, VP of Marketing for Konnet. “It’s an effortless solution for today’s hip gamer.”
The PoweV Quad comes in a white color, as it was created with “practicality and top design in mind” and promises an easier life for the avid gamers who very often run out of juice on their Wii console controllers. A good solution just in time before the upcoming summer school vacation, when your kids will probably play Wii games day and night.
Konnet Technology has made the wireless
charging station available through Amazon bearing the $49.99 price tag. The whole package includes an AC/DC Adaptor cord and four rechargeable Ni-MH 800 mAh battery packs. There are also additional battery packs available for $19.99.
The station doesn't work unless it needs to, thanks to its smart auto off
system and it will let you know that you are once again ready to game via LED indicators. You can even leave the silicon protective casing on the controllers when you charge them, as the PowerV Quad wireless charging station only needs to recognize its own rechargeable batteries. I can also see this invention useful whenever you are having a Wii party and everybody wants to play, because, as you can see in the picture, it will charge four Wiimotes simultaneously.
