Although they were really something else when they first made their way onto the market, USB 3.0 external and portable storage devices are slowly, but surely starting to become mainstream, one of the latest product of this type we've encountered coming from a company called Cirago.

Pocket-sized and light-weight, the CST6000 series provides not only plenty of storage space for one's usual needs, but also a very high-speed data transfer interface, which will certainly make data transfers take a lot less time than usual.

The device sports an aluminum case, which makes it both lightweight and easy to carry around, as well as an active LED power indicator.

The new device supports PC, MAC and Linux and, when connected to an USB 3.0 port, enables data transfers up to 5 Gbps.

The CST6000 external USB 3.0 HDD from Cirago will be available in 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacities, while pricing will vary between $69.99 and $99.99, which makes this solution surprisingly affordable, all things considered.
