Though the enthusiasm of various
accessory manufacturers has highly decreased over the last few weeks compared with the period when the iPad was not yet available on the market, Cocoon Innovations is not shy in announcing two new products that are built for the ultimate Apple fanboy. The horizontal Harlem and the vertical Gramercy iPad slings will host a lot of devices besides the Apple “magical” gadget, such an iPhone or an iPod touch.
Well, the cross-body strap model called Harlem is water resistant, can host 10-inch netbooks as well and is built with Cocoon's GRID-IT organization system. As you might already know, the back of the GRID-IT also doubles as a mousepad and can be configured in all sorts of different ways according to everybody's needs.
"Apple's iPad was this year's most anticipated tech item, and we were excited to be a part of the excitement by designing exclusive iPad
cases that remain consistent with Cocoon's concept of stylish, functional, innovative organization," says Philip Petracca, Vice President of Product Development for Cocoon Innovations.
"With the Gramercy and Harlem iPad bags, named after two of New York City's most popular neighborhoods, Cocoon takes organization to the next level, not only providing a stylish case for gear but also innovating the design to incorporate organization options for other tech accessories and personal items carried everyday." adds Mr. Petracca.
The Gramercy will happily host an iPhone or iPod touch in a transparent external pocket (for easy access) and features a vertical design with adjustable shoulder straps. It also has GRID-IT, which means all the accessories of your MacBook will fit into this new bag from Cocoon. It weighs just 450 grams (15.9 oz) and costs $29.99. The Harlem retails for $54.99.
