Recently, we can see Dell very active in all sorts of different product departments, ranging from
peripherals to
educational platforms. Only yesterday, the company was releasing a new affordable wireless mouse and now they have branded Comarco's 90 Watt Auto-Air DC Adapter.
"The launch of the ChargeSource 90W DC adapter by Dell is an important event for the Comarco team," said Fredrik Torstensson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Our technology and engineering capabilities offer Dell a unique product with 90W of power in the size of a standard cigarette lighter adapter. We are pleased that our team, working with Dell, was able to execute successfully to bring this product to market."
The 90 W Auto-Air DC Adapter actually has dual
functionality, with the ability to connect users of Latitude, Vostro or Precision portable systems from Dell, as well as charge their batteries at the same time. Not to mention the fact that the adapter/charger is “cigarette” sized, which means it will be no burden for laptop users. The ability to connect to both auto and air plugs is also a very powerful feature of the device. It seems like a wise choice from Dell to choose this gadget for their laptops/workstations.
"This was the first Dell branded product that we have produced and represents the achievement of a significant corporate initiative of increasing our business with notebook OEMs," stated Sam Inman, president and CEO. "We look forward to working with Dell and other leading laptop OEMs on additional products to power the mobile lifestyle."
The 90 W Auto-Air DC Adapter is available on Dell's official website dedicated to accessories with a price tag of $89. It comes with one-year warranty and it is only available in the color you can see here. This is more of a practical gadget, not one designed for the fashion-conscious Dell users.
