As if raising kids wasn’t already expensive enough, ThinkGeek now wants you to get them addicted to the gadget high-life before they can even walk with the Combi iPod Bouncer, which looks like your standard infant bouncer, albeit with a slight designer twist, but the ‘killer app’ is the input for your iPod, or presumably any MP3 player. Not only does the Combi bouncer have some manner of built-in speakers allowing junior to enjoy your playlist of choice, but there’s also a vibration unit that’s driven by the music, to calm down babies faster.
Combi's innovative iPod Bouncer features a unique bouncing leg design with rear-mounted electronic controls for the built-in sound and vibration unit. This plugs right into your iPod with the MP3 input for your customized music. It also has a removable collapsible canopy, a removable toy bar with three wooden toys, and a hammock style seat design with a two-position recline so that babies can lay back and relax while listening to their favorite tunes.
Other features include a 3-point padded harness, a weight capacity of 25 pounds, rear storage pouch for canopy and other necessities to keep with you, such as clean diapers, milk baby bottles and stuff like that, and electronic controls in the back allowing you to make adjustments without disturbing the child. Also, it sports a lockable bounce feature.
This product can be used with a baby weighing 5 pounds (newborn) in the fully reclined position. With one weighing less than 5 pounds (preemie), the caregiver should consult their pediatrician. Measuring 7.5" tall x 9" wide x 5" deep, the Combi iPod Bouncer does not only make for a cool, hi-tech bouncer, but it also looks incredibly stylish and practical for this type of devices.
You can purchase it for approximately 80 US dollars.
