Consumer Cellular, a nationwide provider of cellular phones and services, just expanded its product line in order to fit the latest two products, two senior-friendly cell phones, developed by Doro, one Swedish company that has more than 30 years of experience with product design, namely the Doro PhoneEasy 345 and 410 phones, that will be exclusively available via the aforementioned company.

The part about being senior friendly regards the fact that the two have enlarged, raided buttons and easy-to-read display text. These two are sure to make dialing and text messaging easier and simple for all users.

“We recently surveyed our customers and found that 62 percent would prefer a cell phone with easier-to-read, enlarged buttons and display text,” said John Marick, Consumer Cellular co-founder and CEO. “This is why we partnered with Doro, an international leader in innovative and user-friendly consumer electronics, to offer phones that specifically meet the needs of many of our customers.”

Besides the design and making the phones senior-friendly, the Doro PhoneEasy 345 and 410 provide users with a loud and vibrating ringer, as well as soft-touch surfaces for better grip and even Bluetooth connectivity for operating with wireless headsets and neck loops. Nevertheless, the Bluetooth technology can also be used for providing an advanced hearing aids.

“We are pleased Consumer Cellular has added these two models to its product line-up,” said Doro’s CEO Jerome Arnaud. “Doro phones are well-liked with senior citizens and are among the most successful phones with Europe’s mature individuals. Combined with Consumer Cellular’s affordable and flexible calling plans, I am confident that these models will be equally popular in the U.S.”

The pricing for the two mentioned above is at $40 for the Doro PhoneEasy 345, while the Doro PhoneEasy 410 reaches a $50 tag, but do mind that you'll have an additional activation fee to pay.
