Although we live in a time when
charging you laptop is still a necessity and we are forced to carry
those nasty power adapters around with us things can get better, or
that's what Cooler Master is trying to tell us with its latest
ultra-slim USNA95 universal power brick.
The first thing you note about the
USNA95 is how small this thing is, measuring only 104x62x17mm this
power adapter is smaller then most smartphones
available but can provide laptops with up
to 95W of power at 19Vdc.
That should be enough to power even
the
ASUS N73Jn multimedia notebook we recently reviewed that packs a
Core i5 processor and discrete graphics together with a 17.3 inch
display.
In order to be a lot easier to carry
around the USNA95 also boasts a modular design which means the cables
can be removed to save you some space.
Users that opt for this charger would
also get a
USB port that allows them to charge USB devices at the
same time as charging the notebook, and since this USB connector has
its power output boosted from 500mA to 1A, some devices may charge up
to 30 percent quicker than on a USB standard port.
Pricing hasn't been made official yet,
but this thing sounds like a nice addition to your laptop since its
compatible with more then 13 different manufacturers, all the big
names like Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Sony or Toshiba being on the list.
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
