I find it actually nice that I came across this time upon a gaming rig, because those are also rigs that can do the job I need, namely graphics. This is a gaming rig that was taken out by CyberPower this past summer from what I could find out, but was recently re-something, can't find my words, because it is definitely not a re-design, better yet a make-up.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the new Black Mamba gaming computer. Key differences include a new look, fresh hardware, but with the same take no-no for answers regarding running any application. One of the obvious changes in the Mamba is definitely the chassis that transcended from the Cooler Master Storm Sniper to the Corsair Obsidian 800D, one high-end, spacious enclosure that keeps more than enough space for any other component one might need, despite the packed hardware.

Dissecting it, the Black Mamba unveils some internal organs, hardware, mind me, among which a Gigabyte, Asus or EVGA X58 motherboard, a choice of three Intel Core i7 processors, namely 920, 960 or 975 EE, and the Xtreme Hydro liquid cooling system as the sedative to keep the processors calm and cool. As random access memory is never enough, the new version of the Black Mamba now supports up to 24GB (hopefully, in at least six RAM slots, if not eight or twelve).

Other components worth mentioning would be the Blu-ray drive and DVD writer, an SSD/HDD or SSD/HDD RAID setup for storage and gaming speed, but I was wrong about worth mentioning. What is really worth mentioning is the fact that this new Black Mamba has, by default, two watercooled Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards. All of that hardware needs an appropriate PSU, so the one chosen is a 1000W Thermatake PSU that also powers the 12-in-1 card reader, but also an accurate operating system, hence the choice of Windows 7 Home Premium.
