Music has become such a great part of our lifestyles that we usually can't go around without it, and for the same reason, we definitely can't exercise without it. Also, music helps us work harder, and apparently, the louder it is, the harder we can work, at least according to a hacker going by the name of Steve.

He is the one that put up the components you see above, namely a motion sensor and a DIY MP3 player, used a French Vanilla Cafe coffeehouse beverage drink container to sum up the Motion Feedback MP3 Trigger that has the amazing ability of turning the volume up as you start to jump rope, for example. As you will be able to see in the video below, the trigger increases the volume according to the motion detected, and also decreases it when motion stops, as to get quieter when you take a break from your exercise.

This might as well be the next big thing that will attack the market soon, and I will tell you about - namely, motion detection MP3 players, which will even sense the motion and both increase the volume and maybe the tempo or just choose a more appropriate tempo in music, from a given playlist. Thinking it more deeply, this could also be applied in an MP3 player for children exercising.

I can picture the motion sensor being user-controllable, in order for parents to make the device turn the volume down to zero when children don't exercise. Considering that children habitually craze on music and get a strong desire of listening to a certain track, this could be the simplest way in making them dance or exercise, as they find out that once they start moving, the music plays. Applications are so many, actually, that I hope the dude has already gotten his patent.
