Sns International wants to get you to say Hello Moshi every time you wake up with their new digital clock radio built under the Moshi brand. Sure, a voice controlled alarm clock seems like a good idea, but will it recognize your voice after an exhausting poker night or a rock concert? I imagine the frustration in these two situations, when the last thing you want to do is hear the alarm clock and its annoying wake-up tune.
As a means of preventing these types of situations, you will probably set it to play the radio when waking you up and so you should, as this new Moshi Voice Control
Digital Clock Radio integrates 2 speakers capable of delivering surround stereo sound. Another feature this Moshi product has is the support for MP3 players (and the iPod), which to me seems like the best waking up method. It comes with its own line-in cable.
Now, when programming this Moshi
sophisticated alarm clock, you have to actually tell it the time you want the alarm to start singing, which is much cooler than pressing the minute button for 25 times. From the total of eleven voice control commands it recognizes, let me point out some more, which I find useful and are too obvious to explain: Play Radio, Snooze (9 minutes), Time, Set Time, Turn Off the Alarm.
“The Moshi Voice Control Digital Clock Radio provides comfort and convenience to its users,” said Michael Nostrant, President and CEO of Moshi parent company SnS International. “There is no easier way to wake up or play music other than by saying “Hello Moshi” and having the device submit to your command.”
The Moshilifestyle website has this gadget available for $69.99 USD and it is a product which is
a little more practical than you think. It says on the website that it is even recognized by the World Blind Union.
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
