eBook readers are definitely nothing new. There are a lot of Kindle copycats out there and, of course, the almighty Amazon Kindle. Sure, there are good clones, bad clones and some that are also pretty innovative. But this new eBook reader from Elonex promises to be something else. The reader has a battery life that's said to last 8,000 page turns and the e-Ink screen is almost three times sharper than that of a conventional display. It can also be used in direct sunlight. The user can choose from up to eight font sizes and turn it horizontally should he or she need a wider viewing area. And when you're not in the mood to read a book, you can always play Sudoku - it is built in.

Sam Goult added that “The Elonex eBook is not only easy to use but easy on the eye. It has the great functionality that you can change the font size, rotate the screen, read in direct sunlight and because the screen is two and [a] half times sharper than a computer screen it’s great for people who struggle with their eyesight.”
