The gadget I am about to present to you does not come with a sign that says “In case of emergency, break glass” because it has a small shape and is very portable. More precisely, key chain portable, but don't laugh at its small size, because it will save you in every “low battery” situation. The Emergency Charger from Efo is a universal charger that can power up any USB device you might like to use on a regular basis.
It runs on two AA batteries, making it also very light and speaking of light, I must also tell you about its light-emitting function. It has a small but bright LED, which can guide you whenever your electric company shuts down the power in the entire house, in the middle of the night. Or when you are looking for your contacts, which you lost while working in the dark side of your office.
Being a pocketable device, with dimensions of 84 x 35 x 20 mm and a total weight of 23g, you can always carry it around in case your iPhone (2G, 3G, 3GS), digital camera, or gaming gadget runs out of juice for a prolonged usage. The fact that AA batteries can be found in every gas station or boutique basically turns this USB charger into a must-have gimmick.
The guys at Efo Shop say that it will also charge any gizmo in a very short period of time and in case you are in doubt of any of its capabilities, you will also find a video showing the Emergency Charger in action, after the break. But considering the fact that it is a plug and play device, I don’t see what further clarification anyone would possibly need. It costs just $8.50.
