Dubbed as the Energizer Lumee Ambiance and the Energizer Lumee Kids, these new stylish lighting solutions are designed to keep you recharging those Energizer batteries for longer periods of time. Sure, they have a longer than usual autonomy, but that doesn't mean you have other options when it comes to powering them. As you would expect, these lights use
LEDs in order to function.
Though you'll have to continuously feed them batteries, both new indoor, mood changing lighting solutions do have certain practical features, especially the one designed for kids. Besides the fact that it is shaped like a goofy bear, the Lumee Kids will no heat, does not have any cords whatsoever and will provide a dim light for your kid to fall asleep to, instead of leaving
other lights in the house on. After an hour, the Energizer Lumee Kids will automatically shut down. It is also a portable lighting solution, so if the kids get attached to it, they can always carry it with them wherever they might go.
Besides all this, the Kids Lumee from Energizer is Toy certified and supports the same one touch on/off function as the Lumee Ambiance. It will last for 44 hours on three Energizer AA Ultra+ batteries (provided by the maker).
The other solution resembles the one for kids and it is a
chic mood-adjusting light solution. If you believe in all that. So far, Energizer has only built a blue and a purple one, but from what I see, nothing stops you from changing the plastic cover, which sits on top of the three LEDs. Add a red transparent plastic to the Lumee Ambiance and it still won't get hot; unfortunately for grown ups, it lasts less than the similar product for kids. Only 37 hours instead of 44. They are available in Europe but we don't have the price at the moment.
