If you have read my articles, you probably know that some of my favorite gadgets in the world are multifunctional ones. Basically because they let you do a lot of things with the push of a few buttons, at the same time saving space because you don't have a lot of items around, just one that does it all. So, when
Epson announced the WorkForce 610 and 1100 all-in-one, I just had to let you know.
The 610 and 1100 MFPs (multifunctional printers) are said to offer faster print speeds than other of its type, it is Wi-Fi enabled and features an output of up to 13 x 19 inches. Meant for SMBs (small to medium businesses) that want to compete with the big boys and still make a worthy profit, the 610 features a 2.5-inch tilt LCD screen as well as an automatic document feeder. Maximum print speeds top at 38 ppm (pages per minute) when talking only black and white, as well as 38 ppm color.
When aiming to print at laser quality speeds, you'll be printing 15 ppm black and 9.3 ppm color pages. Onward to the WorkForce 1100, a device that seeks to offer high-performance printing of charts, graphs and signage materials. Printing speeds go as far as 30 ppm black and 17 color pages per minute, while laser quality print speeds go as fast as 13 ppm black and 5.5 ppm color. Pricing is 199.99 USD no matter which of the printers you choose. Available for purchase only online right now, it will reach retailers in September.
Ending with a quote from the one and only Rodrigo Catalan, product manager, Consumer Ink Jets,
