I have a strange feeling a period of tablet PC launches will soon arrive, or not, but Fujitsu surely launched one, the LifeBook T900 Tablet PC. This comes as an addition to the company's line of Tablet PCs and takes performance to a new level, benefiting from the new Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors, but still offering the series' features, like the built-in modular bay and the bi-directional display hinge, as you can see in the picture to the left.

In the recommended configurations on the official web page, you can find two models, one for $1,889, the other for $1,989.

I was really wondering what that 100 buck difference can provide you with. Will it provide you with a Dual Digitizer, pen input and capacitive multi-touch screen, instead of only pen input, while all the rest of the configuration is exactly the same, namely with a 2.4GHz i5-520M processor, 13.3" WXGA LED backlit LCD, Intel HD graphics, built-in webcam dual dual digital array microphones for video chat, 2 GB of DDR3 RAM, 160GB SATA 5400RPM storage, a 56K V.92 modem, Gigabit LAN, an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 W-LAN, Bluetooth, Modular dual-layer super-multi DVD writer, fingerprint sensor, smart card slot, and integrated light sensor?

Best of all about this is probably the spill-resistant full-sized keyboard with sensor, as we all know cases and cases with spilled coffee over keyboards. There's even a user-cleanable dust filter, so you can enjoy using your tablet in dusty environments, and on the go. Speaking of on the go, the LifeBook T900 packs a high-capacity Lithium Ion battery, summing six cells worth of 5800mAh.

With no details on other pricing, from the general tech specs, I can see you can have a maximum of 2.66GHz in the T900 with the Core i7-620M processor, a maximum of 8GB of random access memory and a maximum storage of 500GB running at 7,200RPM.
