I guess I don't have to tell you once again about the serious love of cool-looking, albeit somewhat geeky watches, we've gotten going here at Softpedia Gadgets. Add that to our passion for the Star Wars series and you'll probably understand why we are so very impressed by the Darth watch presented by UK watch builder Storm Watches.

The Darth watch really has something of that Vader look going on, providing a 3-disc hand function and a very attractive design, available in black, laser blue, mirror and white version. Furthermore, if the Sith Lord wearing it should ever decide to go for a swim, he should fret not, since this thing is water resistant down to a depth of 50 meters.

The Special Edition Darth watch is powered by a Japanese, Quartz movement, accompanied by a standard battery. The case is made from stainless steel and, while being a bit bulky (43.5mm x 47.5mm), should fit quite well wrists of all sizes. The caseback and crown are also manufactured from stainless steel, while using a special mineral for the lens material.

The watch also packs a 22mm S-FOLD band, whose overall length, of around 195 mm, makes it good enough for most hand sizes. Moreover, the band is closed around the wrist using a 20 mm S-Fold clasp, while the watch's overall weight is not particularly big, since we're only talking about 161 grams or so.

Pricing for the Darth watch is set at just around 100 pounds sterling (around 150 US dollars or so), which is a fairly small sum to pay for such an unusual (and let's face it, quite attractive) timepiece. And we're pretty sure that we'll see quite a lot of hardcore Star Wars fans just rushing in to get their hands on this very cool time-telling device in the near future, since there's nothing cooler than having a Sith lord wrapped around one's wrist, is it now?

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
