During the “Experience Samsung Tour”'s local stop, we've had the chance to go hands and eyes-on with some of the Korean company's most famous products, including here the device you'll read about as follows, namely their flagship, super-thin LED 9000 3D-capable LED HDTV, that, as far as we're concerned, is perhaps one of the most attractive (both design and feature-wise) such TV set we've ever come across.
First and foremost, this thing is super-thin, but estimating just how thin it really is sort of impossible until one really gets to see it live (razor-thin and sharp is probably the best description).
Beside the cool, metallic looks, the LED 9000 delivers very good image quality, both in 2D and in 3D, the latter function available with a pair of glasses.
Plus, this HDTV will also do 2D-to-3D upconverting on the go, thus making itself useful even in those areas of he world where native
3D content is not readily available.
However, leaving the image quality aside, one of the most impressive features the LED 9000 has in store is represented by its remote control, possibly the most advanced product of this type to have arrived on the market thus far.
The reason why we were so impressed by its features is not necessarily related to its touchscreen display (although that was important too) that provides great colors and resolution, but rather about its numerous functions, including here the possibility to view certain TV channels right on the remote's LED display (even when moving from one room to the next, for example).
Also, users will be able to stream all sorts of content right to the remote, which is yet another super-cool offering, as far as we're concerned.
And last, but certainly not least, if you're not fully satisfied with this futuristic remote, you can always go for the built-in controls, that slide out of the TV's base in quite an impressive manner.
All in all, we can honestly say that
Samsung has done a pretty impressive job at creating a what can only be described as a future-proof 3D HDTV, that's most likely well worth the rather high amount of money you'll have to pay for it.
