When it comes to launching new products nobody does it like HP, since the company has outed not one, but three different computing solutions, consisting of the TouchSmart tm2 convertible notebook and two All-in-One desktops, dubbed the TouchSmart310 and Omni100.
Let's take things one step at a time and start with the TouchSmart tm2 12.1 inch convertible
notebook that gets a 1280x800 multitouch capacitative screen, while also packing a stylus input, together with Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processors and AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5450 switchable graphics.
This Windows 7 machine also comes equipped with 4GB of DDR3 memory, 802.11 b/g/n wireless and 1GB Ethernet connectivity, and a really snappy 7200rpm 500GB hard drive packed inside its stylish chassis.
The 6 cell battery will be good for about 6.5 hours, according to
HP, so things shape up really nicely for the TouchSmart tm2.
Next in line we have another multi-touch offering, this time the TouchSmart 310 All-in-One, that comes packed inside an attractive chassis.
Since this is an AMD Vision desktop system, users have the option of choosing between various AMD processors together with Radeon graphics, while the storage space, offered by this 20 inch AIO, can go up to 2TB.
This system also come fully equipped to offer a wide range of multimedia capabilities, HP adding a Light-Scribe compatible DVD burner, a HP TouchSmart remote with Media Center functionalities and an optional HDTV tuner to the mix.
Last in line we have the Omni 100 AIO, that drops the touchscreen support found in its older brother, although this also comes packed with a 20 inch screen, a Light Scribe DVD burner and the AMD Vision certification, meaning it uses a AMD processors together with Radeon graphics.
