If someone was to question me what the next big news in the smarphone market will be I would definitely say Windows Phone 7, not because I am a huge fan of Microsoft's operating system (actually I am more of an Android bloke myself), but because since we are getting nearer to the October launch of this operating system, more and more handsets will start to surface, just like the recently leaked HTC HD7.
Well, it seems like its getting
harder and harder for smartphone manufacturers to keep their devices a secret (or they just like to get some hype around there products every now and then by providing us with intentional leaks) cause after the HD7 schematics were leaked a bit earlier, pictures of the future HTC HD7 also started to surface alongside some pretty detailed hardware specs.
So, what would this smartphone bring us apart from
Microsoft's latest mobile operating system?
According to the info available until now, the HD7 will come with an HTC enriched user interface, a 4.3 inch WVGA screen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor a 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, 720p video recording, and 8GB of built-in storage, so nothing out of the ordinary here.
A kickstand could also be included, some pictures available on a Chinese forum presenting a phone branded as the HTC HD3 (the HD3 was the next in line Windows
HTC handset to arrive, but rumors said this was renamed to HD7 in honor of Microsoft's upcoming mobile operating system) that looks identical to the HD7 schematic.
A release date is not yet available, but all this pictures seem to point to a October launch, probably accompanying the official Windows Phone 7 announcement. (via
