The latest and greatest Hitachi LCD HDTV line features just two series of products, but showing off different sized TV sets. The Reel 120 smooth movie motion technology from Hitachi allows for up to eight high-definition inputs.
Second and last (but definitely not least) is the Alpha series that is available in sizes ranging from 42 to 32 inches (“ranging” as in “those are the only two sizes”), including four HDMI connections and seven high definition inputs, with two being located on the side panel, so game consoles, digital cameras and so on can be easily connected.
The three UltraVision models will be released as follows: the 55-inch one in September, with a price of 1,799 USD, the 46-inch model in August, being priced at 1,299 USD and the 42-inch Class L42S503 model in June for 999 USD.
