Thought yesterday I was writing to you about a new type of biometric reader, here you will be able to read about the world's first dual reader of this type, which was named in accordance with modern day gadget nomenclature, the iFace 302. Built by ZK Software, an American company, this new biometric reader offers record speed detection.

"The iFace 302 introduces a new level of sophistication for Biometric Readers," said Jaimin Shah, CEO of ZK Software, U.S. "It offers multiple options to quickly and accurately identify a person, and cannot be compromised by unauthorized parties. Like all ZK products, it also easily integrates with any software application."

Though it cannot read finger veins, the speed at which the iFace 302 reads biometric data and/or PIN codes makes it ideal for use in areas where a large flux of people has to pass. These locations could vary from a chaotic school entrance to the hallway of a very large factory or plant. Of course, it has Time and Attendance apps, which allow for the apparatus to give precise data regarding the people passing "through" it. The producers have also put in Access Control applications so that it can be used in hotels or airports.

The iFace 302 can store up to 10,000 fingerprints and ten times more transactions. It is also capable of recognizing the same face with 15 different facial expressions, so no matter how bummed down you are when going to work, this biometric reader will know that it is you who are entering the factory. The controlling of this device via Wi-Fi or GPRS technologies is optional and does not come built-in. ZK Software could market this product in almost any location on the planet as they do build it with multi-lingual support of up to 18 languages.
