New Anti-Glare TV Filters now available

Intelligen LLC is actually the parent company behind the ViewGuard brand you might know as a manufacturer specialized in protective films for various displays, including Mac and PC monitors, laptop screens, etc. They built both privacy screen filters and anti-glare filters, which are usually customized in order to fit any model of panel out there.

Now, ViewGuard has a new range of anti-glare TV filters designed to protect the large screen TVs from various reflections and external damage. The ViewGuard filters are most useful in situations where you have to install a TV screen in a brightly lit environment that doesn't favor the visibility of present panels. Simply add an Anti-Glare TV Filter suited for your set and enjoy a normal viewing experience, when other light shielding solutions are not an option, as they are effective against both sunlight and artificial light.

The maximum diagonal dimensions of the TVs that the new ViewGuard TV Filters will fit can be as large as 65 inches on the widescreen format. They will be compatible with sets built at the 720p and 1080i standards as well, starting from 27 inches in size. Besides the anti-glare reduction effect of using such a screen on an LCD, LED or Plasma screen, the filters from ViewGuard will make the panels immune to fingerprints, scratches or any type of smudges. This way, you can better protect a display used in a semi-public place, for example, which is regularly exposed to the risks mentioned above.

The official ViewGuard website already has the new screens available for purchase with an MSRP of $99.99. Considering the fact that they can protect an investment of a few thousand dollars, if not more, the price tag on the Anti-Glare TV Filters seems quite reasonable. The manufacturers don't say anything about a limited period of usage or something like that, but do point out that their fresh products are very easy to take on and off the TVs.
