JOBO AG announced that it has added the Plano 10 Gestic multimedia digital picture frame to its growing family of such gadgets. The new Jobo Plano 10 Gestic is said to be the world's first digital picture frame featured with integrated sensors for intuitive touchless operation. The slim designed frame has the most increased versatility thanks to the fact that users can operate it with the simple movement of one hand or several fingers directly in front of the frame, without the need to actually touch it, or using the included remote control.

"This easy-to-use innovative new PLANO digital picture frame was designed with today’s modern digital photo consumer in mind,” said Johannes Bockemuehl-Simon, JOBO’s CEO.

You only have to move your hand across the area of the frame, within 6 inches from it to easily scroll through your pictures from the left or to the right, to reach the first or last picture. The frame incorporates a 10.4" high resolution color LCD monitor, developed to beautifully showcase digital pictures and video, as well as many user-friendly functions. Screen resolution is set at 800 x 600 pixels with the standard 4:3 aspect ratio, while contrast ratio says 400:1 and brightness 230 candles per square meter.

“It’s like something you see in a science fiction movie. Not only is this large sleek black frame extremely stylish, the new futuristic JOBO 10 Gestic Photo Display also feature integrated sensors allowing users to view their digital images with just a wave of their hand in front of the frame’s display – a first of its kind in the world and a great addition to the JOBO line of recently introduced PLANO Photo Displays.”

As to keep memories alive, the Jobo Plano 10 Gestic slideshows digital pictures automatically making for a nice addition to a room, showing different pictures every time you walk by it. More into versatility, the Jobo Plano 10 Gestic allows users to highlight favorite pictures, or better said, bookmark them for easy viewing and showing to their friends. Available by next month, the Jobo Plano 10 Gestic digital picture frame will have a price of $249.00.
