Since just about every single NVIDIA partner has come up with their own take on NVIDIA's recently-introduced GT430 GPU, we expected nothing less from KFA2 (Galaxy's European branch), and the company quite naturally delivered a device of its own, albeit a full-height one.
Quite obviously, the device offers the
standard set of specs corresponding to the latest addition in the Fermi family, including here 96 CUDA cores, 700 Mhz Graphics Clock, 1400 Mhz CPU clock, 800 Mhz memory clock, 1GB of DDR 3 VRAM memory, 128-bit memory interface, 25.6 (GB/Secs) memory bandwidth and 5.6 (Billion/Secs) texture fill rate.
The device also packs a rather large custom active cooler, which takes up most of the blue full-size PCB.
Furthermore, the solution from KFA2 also comes with TrueHD and DTS-HD audio bitstreaming, as well as DVI and HDMI outputs to connect one's PC to their HDTV.
“Perfect for Home Theater entertainment experience, the KFA2 GT 430 has complete 1080p Blu-Ray 3D support enabling theater quality 3D in you home,“ said Graham Brown, European Marketing Manager.
Pricing for the
new card has been set at around 67.20 Euro, which seems to be just about right, especially taking into account the general market trend as far as NVIDIA's latest offering is concerned.
