If you're the kind of person that stores some of his/her media on DVDs, you probably make more than one copy of the DVD, seeing how this is not exactly the safest way of storing important files and folders.

And if you have a lot of DVDs to back-up, that can take a pretty long time. Unless you have Kanguru Solutions' fastest DVD duplicator. Using SATA drives to increase its 22x recording speed, this device is said to allow you to copy a full 4.7GB single layer DVD in less than five minutes. How's that for ultra fast transfer? The DVD duplicator can also duplicate CDs (since most if not all DVD burning solutions can do it, why couldn't this one?), but it can also function as a standalone workstation or as a backup to your computer, being able to copy information directly via a USB 2.0 connection.

Since it comes with a removable hard drive, it also offers the possibility of saving images of the source CD or DVD disc, which you can later access. The hard drive has a size of 250GB. Models that use Lightscribe burning are available, as well as others that can copy high capacity Blu Ray discs.

As Don Brown, CEO of Kanguru Solutions, said, “We’ve taken DVD duplication to the next step with this product release [...] Don’t be fooled by the 'X' factor in the speed. When coupled with SATA, these new duplicators more than double the speed of most duplicators on the market.”

The device includes features such as Copy, Compare, Copy and Compare, Test, Test and Copy, Mix Audio Tracks, Erase Audio Track and Auto Copy. As for support, expect compatibility with a lot of other formats, like CD+G, VCD, ISRC, DVD+/–R, DVD+/- RW, CD-R and CD-RW. It is available for just 500 USD.
