As you know, there are plenty of Sony Centers all over the world, where people can take a look at the latest consumer electronics the Japanese company has in store, but there's always room for more, the expansions proving that Sony's products manage to attract an increasingly growing number of people.
Anyway, the reason why we've brought up this subject is because we've had the chance to attend the official opening of one of the largest such stores in Central and Eastern Europe, namely the one from Bucharest, Romania.
The store, opened by New Link, the Sony Center administrator in Romania, is located in a central position in one of the country's largest malls, the Unirea Shopping Center, and is currently the largest of the 10 Sony Center stores in romania.
Furthermore, the
Sony Center in Unirea Shopping Center is the first Sony shop in Eastern Europe to adopt the new design and quality lines, created by Nagai Youichirou, Manager Strategic Marketing, Sony Central and SouthEast Europe, Kft. and implemented by Art1st Design Budapest.
The store has a surface of 100 square meters, with aproximately 800 Sony products: VAIO notebooks, BRAVIA LCD TVs, Alpha DSLR cameras or the compact Cyber-shots, Handycam camcorders, but also the colourful photo and video accessories.
“The Sony Center in Unirea Shopping Center represents the main space where Sony latest products and technologies will be closer to the users.
The store’s futuristic design, through which the users can better see the products, but also the various categories and the large number of
Sony multimedia gadgets are the key elements that will determine any visitor to become a faithful client of this Sony Center.”, declares Taiju Ishikawa, Branch Manager Sony Romania.
„The partnership between Sony and New Link is a traditional one, based on the common efforts of the two companies to create the good reputation Sony has in Romania.
We are enthusiastic to have a trustful partner on our side,” Mr.Ishikawa added.
