There sure have been a lot of
All in One computers introduced lately! It seems everyone that's anyone has built at least one
AIO with which to pride themselves. And some, like Lenovo, have built quite a few, like the newly announced Lenovo C100, an AIO that is meant to impress with its looks, its specifications and the experience it will offer light PC users everywhere. So let us take a closer gander at what this baby can do shall we? Who knows, perhaps we will find something we like!
Well, it has an 18.5 inches in size screen with a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio and a two-inch screen depth. As far as power goes, a computer is only as powerful as its processor is and the C100 is pretty ok for an AIO. It can be outfitted with an Atom 230 single core processor or the Intel Atom 330 dual core processor that allows for an evident increase in speed. You also get access to a DVD burner slash reader, four USB ports (I wager 2.0) and a pretty ok software bundle called the Lenovo Recovery System.
Let us see what Dion Weisler, vice president, Business Operations, Lenovo, had to say about the C100, shall we? “Packed with cool experiences and available at a very affordable price, the C100 expands Lenovo’s consumer offering for the fast growing all-in-one market segment […] The C100 is simple to set up and easy to use, ideal for those seeking a convenient way to enhance their digital lifestyle.”
As for the design of the AIO... well, if you've seen other devices from Lenovo (especially the C300 AIO) you know what to expect: a classy, cool-looking design that is bound to appeal to a lot of persons. It has been made available at a starting price of 399 USD.
