Don't you miss seeing devices that look as good as they perform? I mean, what's the use of having a very powerful laptop if it doesn't look as special as it really is? For me at least the design and overall aesthetics of a device play a crucial role in me choosing my next computer. And should the need arise that I have to buy myself a new laptop, I am definitely thinking about getting one of the three that Lenovo has just announced that will be coming with Windows 7!

First, the IdeaPad Y550P, a device that comes with a Core i7 processor (featuring Turbo Boost Technology that speeds up the processor when need arises), NVIDIA discrete graphics as well as a 15.6-inch HD widescreen display. An interesting addition is definitely the touch-sensitive bar that is positioned above the keyboard so as to allow easier navigation between programs, documents, shortcuts or even desktop wallpapers.

If multimedia is indeed your thing but you also want something 'slim and chic', you're probably going to go for the IdeaPad U150, a device that has 8GB of DDR3 memory, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor as well as an 11.6-inch HD wide screen. There's an Active Protection System that makes sure your HDD does not get damaged from bumps or drops as well as a prolonged battery life.

Last but not least comes the IdeaPad U550, an ultraportable that has a thickness of 24mm, a display that's 15.6 inches in size as well as an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and of course a button that will turn off the discrete graphics card and allow for a better management of battery life. There's an ambient light sensor that adjusts screen brightness as well as the VeriFace facial recognition software that allows for more secure access to your computer.
