You just graduated college, you get a job and now your life starts. For some people, the most difficult thing, for starters, is waking up on time. There are enough alarm clock types out there to fill a whole book with a couple of volumes.

There are mild sounding and there are annoying types. Probably the best to get is the annoying type, if you can take the early morning hassle. Or even better, just get both types. That way you know you can set up the annoying one if you went to bed later or had a drink or two and you need to make sure you get up or set the tender one if you just want to wake up on a Sunday morning.

For the annoying types, here I go into telling you about the Animal Sound Alarm Clocks. They look so fancy. The mosquito, the cow and the rooster, all look so funny, especially the mosquito that seems to have his tongue sticking out or proboscis rotating around him. Besides the funny look, I can figure that the mosquito must be the best wake-up alarm clock ever. I for one can't stand that sound and it wakes me up no matter what. Considering that it's louder than an actual mosquito, it's a clear winner. It's a clear winner anyway, since you could actually play gags on your friends using it. Maybe take it apart and add a volume control so it won't be that audible.

The cow should also be fun to have, but I'm not that sure about the waking up efficiency, at least in the case of you being used to moo-ing sounds, if you know what I mean.

The rooster would be more of a nostalgia to me, as I spent a big part of my childhood in the country side. It's always a pleasure to wake-up with a Cuckadoodledoo in my ears.

Other features of these clocks that I should mention are quartz movement, glass window, small size of only 10.2 x 10.2 cm and that they work with 3 AA batteries that are not included in the price of $25.95.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
