As you probably know already, Samsung's actively involved in just about every segment of the display solutions' market, with projectors in general and pico projectors in particular making no exception, so when we've been given the chance to check out one of the company's most interesting offerings in this field, the ultra-slim, ultra-portable SP-H03 LED Pico Projector, we were quick to take advantage of it.

First and foremost, we'll have to admit that the SP-H03 is one of the slimmest and smallest pico-projectors we've ever encountered, the device taking only a very small amount of space wherever the user might decide to place it and being extremely lightweight, since it tips the scales at just 210 grams.

However, its compact form factor doesn't make it any less reliable, since the LED lamp gives over 30,000 hours of lamp life.

Of course, one requires a relatively dark environment in order to enjoy a good quality image projected by the SP-H03, but, then again, that applies for the majority of pico-projectors out there.

The H03 sports a built-in speaker for enjoying multimedia content, but also a document reader feature, which supports all of the Microsoft Office programs, PDF, TXT, HTML, MPEGS, and JPEGS.

The gadget also has plenty of connectivity options, including PC in (D-sub, 15 pin), AV composite in, USB port (for memory, download, external power), head set jack, SD card slot for external memory and a tri-pod fitting for mounting.

As a conclusion, we liked the SP-H03 for truly being an interesting gadget, but, to be perfectly honest, we're still trying to envision the exact range of applications the ultra-portable LED based projection solution from Samsung would be suitable for.
