Ludia Inc, the company that developed the eBeam portable interactive whiteboard and display solution, has just trumpeted a product integration with Vaddio, namely one of the leading manufacturers and OEM distributors of specially pan/tilt/zoom cameras and high-end camera control systems. This partnership translates into the integration of the Liudia eBeam
interactive technology with video capture hardware from Vaddio, resulting the Vaddio Video Whiteboard.
“By integrating eBeam Digital Ready, we were able to create the Vaddio Video Whiteboard, an innovative solution, which can be used in a variety of applications such as videoconferencing and content creation,” said Rob Sheeley, President of Vaddio. “We now have a solution that resolves two issues -- no longer do presenters need to worry about light reflecting from the whiteboard surface into the camera lens or presenters blocking the whiteboard camera shot with their body.”
This is a completely new and innovative class of video whiteboard solutions, or at least that's what the two companies claim. Using the eBeam Digital Ready, a hardware containing pre-built partitions for an interactive receiver, cords and cables, the whiteboard is capable of streaming content along with HD video,
ensuring that users will be able to see both the presenter and the content in clear and crisp quality.
“The incorporation of eBeam Digital Ready into the Vaddio Video Whiteboard exhibits the ease with which our partners can integrate with our solutions,” said Roy Erez, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development, Ludia. “Whether partners embed our technology or combine existing eBeam solutions with theirs to create an entirely new range of high value products, Luidia helps partners create market-right interactive products that enhance engagement for businesses and educators.”
Thanks to the eBeam Digital Ready technology, a whiteboard marker pen strokes' are seamlessly captured and translated into video, which eliminates the need for a PC. All the setup and user whiteboard controls are directly embedded into the whiteboard frame, giving presenters quick access to needed key, like calibration, marker stroke size or save files.
