You know, there are days when I come to work, check out the recent press releases, my RSS feeds and so on and just think about a company. The other day, I was thinking about MSI, how it hasn't launched anything interesting lately and guess what! Here I am preparing to write about MSI’s latest classic C series additions. The MSI CX600 and CR600 have been announced.

The fresh C series models have a new pretty attractive classic design based on MSI's wedge technique. It is not out of this world but it is “classic fashionable” if you don't mind the word game. The external casing of the devices has been designed using Color Film Print technology, which is said to make the surface interact with ambient light and create a bunch of interesting vivid visual effects complete with changing design patterns. This definitely tingles my aesthetic loving imagination, but I'd rather not get my hopes up since companies tend to exaggerate in their descriptions.

As for specs, let us first check the CX600, shall we? Well, it is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, uses an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 with 512MB DDR2 memory and can be outfitted with up to 4GB DDR2 RAM. It comes with a 1.3-megapixel webcam, three USB 2.0 ports, up to 500GB SATA storage and a choice of 6 or 9 cells batteries. It has a 16-inch HD Ready 16:9 ratio LED backlit display.

Onward to the CR600. It sports an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, integrated GeForce 8200M graphics, up to 4GB of maximum DDR2 memory and a 1.3-megapixel webcam. As for the storage, SATA hard drives of up to 500GB are available. There's a 16-inch HD Ready 16:9 ratio LED backlit display ready to show your pretty pictures the way you want it. Again, there's a choice of a six or nine-cell battery. Both laptops weigh 2.48 kilograms with the 6-cell battery in place.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
