Ever since its launch, AMD's Vision platform has managed to take center stage in a very large number of portable computing solutions released by various manufacturers from all over the world, the latest product to be built on the Danube platform being MSI's new 14-inch CX413 laptop, pertaining to the company's “Classic” series.
The CX413 boasts AMD’s latest Danube platform with the AMD Athlon II dual core processor which supports DDR3 system memory that expands to a maximum of capacity of 8GB for superior data processing capabilities.
Moreover, the CX413 also comes with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 discrete graphics card (with 512MB DDR3 display memory), which “pumps pixels” to the 14-inch 16:9 LED screen.
Storage is provided by HDDs (250, 320 and 500GB versions available), while the device also packs a DVD Super Multi optical unit, HDMI and VGA ports, 3 x USB 2.0 ports and a 4-in-1 card reader.
The CX413 also comes with a high resolution webcam, a microphone, 802.11 b/g/n high speed wireless, Bluetooth V2.1+EDR module with X3 transfer rate, and a pair of sound stereo speakers with HD Audio.
