Now, this is somewhat unusual for you to read here, but the following news involves not one, but two gadgets.
First of the two would be the cell phone that a woman was loudly using in a Lancaster movie theater, at 9:00 PM during a Saturday night where people were watching Shutter Island. We all know that it is most rude to use your cell phone or speak in the theater, but usually nobody does anything about it.
It didn't take long for a man to start complaining about that, and he probably did it also out loud, as he thought his complaints were well-received, since the woman and her two companions got up and left.
Now comes in the second gadget, which was also a shock for me - a meat thermometer that the woman's two companions had on them. Minutes later, they came back and approached the man that made a fuss about the rude woman talking on the cell phone, who ended up being stabbed in the neck with the meat thermometer.
But that's not all, as it was probably not enough that the complainer
was hospitalized with serious injuries, but the two mugs also hurt two other moviegoers that came to the victim's aid. Now, there are two things that I have to wonder - Are these the 'modern' times? Where Neanderthals still roam the streets, and do such acts? And second - how in the world is one able to get inside a theater with a meat thermometer on them? It's not like I know any theater with a terrace for people to grill some meat while watching a movie, so we should also question the security of theaters.
All in all, the victim was stabbed and hospitalized for what? For asking for his right to watch the movie without someone talking rudely on the phone. How dared he?!
