Do you have quite a lot of electronic devices connected to your power strips that simply lay there, on the floor, and you fear that an accidental flood might destroy all of your collection, which you've worked so hard to purchase? Well, if that's the case, fear no more, since a company called Wet Circuits has come up with what really seems to be the world's first completely waterproof power strip.

According to the manufacturer, this device has a very special design and sports a protective material that minimizes the flow of electricity when in contact with water. This allows machines that users have plugged in to keep working while they are protected from being electrocuted.

Moreover, the patented design ensures electric power may only be conducted when a proper plug is 100% inserted into the outlet. Also, besides a fuse, the product comes with a reusable circuit breaker that discontinues any flow of electric power when it passes over 212°F (100°C), thus preventing fire caused by overloading. Once cooled, the power strip can once again be used.

It's also interesting to mention that Wet Circuits prevent blue sparks from even happening. The special material the device is manufactured from prevents carbon from building up and overheating, thus keeping users safe.

The GF-3401 waterproof power strip from wet circuits supports voltages up to 125V, sports an 1650W capacity, 15A current intensities and come attached to a 2-meter cord. Plus, the MSRP is actually extremely attractive, since we're only talking about 40 US dollars.
