Charging your gadgets on the go can prove to be an easier job than you expected, with highly portable gadgets like this charger right here. It is a Scosche product, which means it also has an iPhone/iPod model, so that owners of Apple products can charge their favorite portable gimmicks as well. Other than that, I must tell you that “highly portable” actually means that the flipSYNC is very, very small. How small? Keychain-wearable small.

This USB 2.0 charge and sync cable is a new solution designed to make your life easier, by letting you connect your gadgets from the comfort of your own keychain, wherever you are. There is no need for cumbersome adapters and all sorts of special cables, when you can simply add the flipSYNC next to the garage door key and always charge your mobile phone or any other Mini USB device you know, from your laptop.

I like these small but versatile solutions as they provide extra comfort while in situations that place you on the move/on the go/on the road by foot. Seeing its cables though, they do remind me of those cookie cutter mice for laptops that come with retractable cables. This Scosche flipSYNC looks to have similar cables, which I don't know if you have used before, but if you have, you must know that they do not last for long.

Those flimsy cables snap like twigs under a bear's foot, even if you do not use them that much. Considering the fact that this is a charging/sync cable you will probably use very often, I hope Scosche has come up with a way to make the wires sturdier. They don't specify anything regarding this matter on their website. All they tell us is that it costs $19.99 dollars. Kind of expensive for a keychain, if you ask me.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
