MiLi has been seen coquetting with mobile devices such as the iPhone in order to keep it powered up at all times and even manufacturing some of
the smallest and most portable chargers out there. This time, they have two new similar products that will work with a wider
variety of devices, not just the Apple ones and they both carry intriguing names.
The MiLi Power Crystal is the one designed in six different colors and, trust me, this is an important aspect of this external power pack, while the MiLi Power Miracle is only available in black and white. The exterior coloring is important because the Crystal is key chain wearable, though you would have to provide the chain yourself, as it does not come with one included in the package. Just like the Miracle, the Crystal has a 2,000 mAh battery inside the pretty case, which you can use to power up various gadgets.
Both models of external power sources from MiLi come with retractable USB cables and six different connector tips. These tips will let you power portable devices that support any of these connections: Mini USB, Micro USB, iPod/iPhone, LG, Samsung G Series, BlackBerry, HTC, Motorola, or Nokia. Whenever you run out of juice on your laptop while working on a project half an hour before the deadline, imagine how useful a pocketable battery extension would be.
There are frontal LEDs indicating the power left in the Power Crystal or Power Miracle's battery and this way, you can always make sure that they are fully charged before you leave home.
I wonder if users of this type of solutions always forget to charge their phones or netbooks and instead just power the external
battery pack. I think it might become a habit. But no matter what I think, here are the official prices announced by MiLi for each of these two gimmicks. They say their value is $44.95, but if you visit MiLi's website, they will actually offer them to you at a more affordable price.
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
