It was a sad day when Michael Jackson passed away. Looking at what are stated to be recent pictures, while training for the planned series of concerts, Michael never looked better, so the question remains why he suffered a heart attack. He was only 50 years old and was, without a doubt, the most loved singer of all times. Let's not forget why everyones loved him, the King of Pop. It was because he was a most talented singer, dancer and all-around performer. I don't think anyone can forget the first contact, the first time he listened to one of his tracks or watched a video.
The most memorable video is probably Thriller. I mean, how can you forget those yellow eyes and the fangs? Most of us first saw that that clip when we were merely 4 or 5 years old. The short film was a success as well. As we grew we partied to the beats of “Billie Jean” and “Beat It”. Thinking about that now, I remembered about the
Thriller Headphones. Designed by Johnny Lighthands, they won the Nokia headset design competition in 2008 and were later on built by ATOM Creative Solutions.
On top, they feature a mini-graveyard with a hand reaching from inside the ground, surrounded by a little fence, a tree with an owl and even a little bat, portrayed as flying above the gravestones. A greenish zombie coming out of its tomb is holding a door, through which the famous werewolf is breaking through, that has the ear cups attached.
Sadly, Nokia only made one pair of these into a working model. Considering the drama that surrounds the singer maybe Nokia will make at least a limited-edition available for purchase, but try not to think about the price tag if this comes true.
