Microvision Incorporated, one of the leading developers of ultra-miniature projection display products, has announced today the opening of the company's web store, targeting the U.S. customers, selling the SHOWWX laser pico projector in two interesting packages, the Standard Edition SHOWWX and the Limited Edition SHOWWX promotional bundle.

The one time Limited Edition SHOWWX bundle promotion begins right today, as to celebrate the introduction of what is claimed to be the world's first pico projector based on Microvision’s PicoP technology, in the United States.

The Limited Edition SHOWWX bundle is intended for the technology enthusiast and ultra-mobile media addict, as it comes with a personalized splash screen bearing the name of its owner, as well as with SHOWWX with 'Limited Edition' markings, certificate of authenticity and a SHOWWX VGA dock, aside from other accessories that aren't included in the Standard Edition bundle. SHOWWX is a claimed world's first laser-based pico projector that ensures an impressive image quality provided by Microvision's PicoP laser projection technology. Technical specs include a native resolution of 848 x 480 pixels (WVGA), super simple plug-and-play use, as well as fiddle-free infinite focus, high contrast ratio and bright vivid colors summed up from ultra-miniature laser light sources. Depending on the ambient light, the SHOWWX is capable of projecting DVD-quality images from mobile devices, up to 200 inches diagonally.
