Remember those bags of wine? Nope, it is not a misspelling; there really are bags of wine made for people that want to pour their wine from a tap (connoisseurs know what I'm talking about).

I don't know whether it wants to go for the same concept, but Miller is currently testing a fridge fitting draft-beer box for home users, if I can say so. I really like the idea of drinking beer from the tap, because I can pour as much as I want to drink, I don't have to open an entire bottle just to take a sip.

The bad part is that, by some strange reason, they thought that people who like to drink their beer from the tap don't really care about the quality. That's quite paradoxical if you think about it.

It's Miller Lite and Coors Lite inside and they're researching the market in a few cities, with a nationwide expansion plan if it all goes well with the "pilot episode." By the way, I don't think it will go as well as they hope. Why? Simply because I'm not that confident in people liking cheap, watered-down beer coming out of a tiny keg.

It's much more expensive than buying regular beer, you know, the one that comes in a bottle. With a price tag of $20 on the box and knowing the quantity it provides, we easily come to the conclusion that you will pay $1.25 per bottle of beer-tasting water, when it would be way cheaper to buy a 12-pack. I almost forgot to say that the box delivers 1.5 gallons of "beer."

I told you about wine in a bag and beer in a box, now at the end, I have to tell you about a fellow of mine, who once stated that "Wine after beer makes you a dear, beer after wine makes you whine" so try remembering the order - bag after box.
