Don't start thinking that I turned to writing about heavy artillery just yet, because what you see on the left is just for exemplification purposes - the "gadget" I will be talking about this time being the one in the video below. If you recognized the Mk 19 grenade launcher, then you should know that it doesn't even come close to anything called consumer, but that doesn't mean you can't own a replica.

What you will be able to see in the video below is an almost-genuine replica of the famous grenade launcher, and I say almost because it actually uses Nerf darts, which are just replicas made of foam, some accessories marketed by Hasbro Toys.

Sure, the so-called grenade launcher might fire just harmless foam rockets, but it's not any less fun. I mean, you're not going to be using such a thing to actually defend yourself, but instead you can play a lot o gags with it. First, let us finish inspecting the Mk 19 Nerf grenade launcher, continuing with the fact that its main power sources are batteries, and it takes advantage of compressed air to launch the fake missiles.

Guess you could call this a toy, but mind that it's a toy weighing no less than 45 kilograms. Now, to express my evil schemes of playing tricks with such a gimmick - first, I would build (because this is also a DIY project, so I guess it's not for sale) as many Mk 19 replicas as possible, and maybe even be a little more careful on the design, and surround neighbors' houses with them, targeting war veterans, and I guess that's enough said.

Or just imagine the looks on your parents' faces when they see you drag it outside to play with your friends, especially if your friends have one of these too, and you pretend going to war.
