Look how worthless it is

I just love when some worthless ghost company device just pops out of nowhere and one of its products is advertised as being able to provide some innovative feature, which in reality either doesn't work or is nothing more than some unimportant function which nobody ever uses anyway.

This is the case with the JinPeng E118. This is a 3.0-inch screen mobile phone that is supposed to have a detachable wireless camera. So one will start thinking “why would you need a phone with a detachable camera?”. Sure, some (for example the manufacturer) might find scenarios where it might be useful, but it's rather difficult. The camera uses RF technology in order to send pictures to the phone. Again, interesting, but utterly useless considering it only has a maximum range of 10 meters. Going so far as to claim that the camera even provides live feed to the handheld is still not impressive. I mean, is this phone supposed to be cool just because it can take a picture of itself?

As far as other phone specifications go, this is only a dual band device (900/1800 MHz) with a touchscreen LCD and dual-SIM slots. I admit the Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP is impressive for a ghost company, but the max. VGA picture resolution (640x480) is a no go, altbeit the device is branded with 2MP on the camera, so this might be a manufacturer's mistake. The multimedia player only supports MP3, MP4, 3GP, JPG and AVI (this is fake because AVI comes in various different encodings), but if you get bored by your music you can turn on the FM radio. By the way, there's also SD card support for up to 2GB.

Most of the software on the phone is made in house and doesn't really offer a lot of interactivity, Internet wise. How could it? There's no Wi-Fi or 3G on the phone, so if you actually want to send one of the photos via e-mail you're out of luck.

Wow! I dont know why u r thinking its useless; i can see many places where i can use it. For example; just to spy some where for a distance (10 M according to u) is Fuuuun! What about some Hidden Cam? we can use it there and nothing else we required only a Phone it self!!

I can think of many uses of a detachable camera. For me personally, working in a security sensitive area is a pain as I can't take to work a good phone without a camera. This is a great idea. I can take the camera off for work and put it back on at home. In fact I came to this article by searching "Detachable Camera Phone"!!!
