The iPhone and its successor, the iPhone 3G, have become two icons in the world of smartphones since their launch, at the same time being responsible (together with the iPod) for Apple making a pretty nifty profit during this bleak economic period. However, these two products do have some issues, one of them being battery life, which never seems to last for as long as their users might want to. And for this reason, the people over at PhoneSuit have come up with the MiLi Power Pack, a device that helps users work with their iPhones for a lot longer.
The device is extremely easy to use, since, practically, all the user will ever have to do is simply slide his/her iPhone into the MiLi and enjoy the extra functioning life. And since we've reached this subject, it's important to mention that the 1800 mAh rechargeable battery included in the MiLi (combined with the iPhone's own battery) allows the device from Apple to function for up to 350 hours in stand-by mode, up to six hours while surfing the web via 3G (or seven hours via Wi-Fi), as well as play audio files for up to 28 hours or videos for up to eight hours.

One of the most interesting things about the MiLi is the way it prioritizes power consumption. Hence, when the iPhone is connected to the MiLi power pack and if the MiLi is connected to a USB power source, consumption comes first from this power source. When the MiLi is not being charged, the iPhone power consumption comes from the MiLi battery first until the MiLi’s remaining charge is less than 5 percent. When the MiLi battery is less than 5% charged, the iPhone power source is used. Practically, the device has been designed in such a manner as to allow users to take the iPhone out of it whenever they want to talk, for example, without its battery being affected in any way.
Moreover, the MiLi can be used as a USB charger for other USB devices as well, which makes the 80 US dollar price tag even more attractive. Plus, you can choose your own color, which is always a good thing, right?
