I am only now realizing that Moshi will be building every single one of their products with voice control technology. I see it very useful in cars, where your hands need to be on the steering wheel and eyes on the road at all times and somewhat practical in alarm clock radios, but it might be too much into their upcoming lineup of accessories pictured on their website. Getting back to the Voice Control Bluetooth Car Speakerphone announced here, let me tell you that it is also activated by the catchy “Hello, Moshi” voice command.

“With so many states making it illegal to use cellular phones while on the road, hands-free calls have become a necessity,” said Michael Nostrant, President and CEO of Moshi parent company SnS International. “The Moshi Bluetooth Car Speakerphone is unique in that it has the ability to dial and answer calls without ever having to take your hands off the wheel.”

The company is thrilled about their new product and they make a very good point when talking about the practical aspects of such a gimmick. It boasts 13 voice controlled functions, which cover all the basic needs of a very talkative and thus busy driver. It supports only one mobile phone connection at a time though, which makes other solutions out there seem superior to the Moshi Bluetooth Car Speakerphone.

But with this one, you can set up to five dials, verbally ask for the list of commands, very useful for first time users and call back the last incoming call. Canceling phone calls is also possible with the Voice Control Bluetooth Car Speakerphone and when you're not sure about how much juice it has left, talk to it about this problem and it will respond. The gadget offers about seven hours of talk time, which should be enough for a whole day of work.

This car speakerphone is available on the maker’s website with an MSRP of $79.99 and perhaps you'd like to know that it features echo cancellation and noise suppression technologies, for a better, clearer sound quality.
