Motorola Incorporated has just announced the expansion of its renowned WX series, adding six new entry level mobile devices that will enable even more users to stay connected. The WX series will now include the pretty MOTO WX161 and MOTO WX181 candybar handsets, with FM radio and built-in light torch, as well as the MOTO WX260 and WX265 that sport Bluetooth,
embedded MP3 players and expandable memory for up to 2GB, and completed by the MOTO WX290 and WX295, packing digital cameras.
"This new range builds on the success of the original WX Series which debuted in 2009. The aim was to meet the changing needs of our consumers and make mobile communication available to the widest possible audience. These six new mobiles deliver just that by offering affordable solutions for talking, texting, taking photos and listening to tunes," said Andrew Morley, vice president of Marketing, EMARA, Motorola Mobile Devices.
The Moto WX181 is the one that will add mostly color to life of customers, keeping things minimalistic with its 1.5" color display and FM radio with integrated RDS, for displaying songs, artists and genres, while the built-in LED torch to aid its users in dark environments, aside from the capability of conference calls for up to five people.
Moto WX161, WX260 and WX265 are
the fun stylish ones, which bring the joy of music with their MP3 players, but also WAP for browsing the internet on the WX260, that just like the WX265, offers wireless calls with Bluetooth 2.0 and can load a maximum of 2GB of music, thanks to the optional microSD card.
Featuring a simple design, the WX290 and WX295 will suit the likes of customers that are usually on the go and need a simple and reliable mobile phone. Pricing for these will be available upon contacting your local Motorola representative.
