Korea is one of the world's most technologically-advanced countries, and Koreans often get to enjoy certain products the rest of the world will either see a long time after they've been released in the Asian country, or in many cases, not at all. And that also seems to be the case with the device you'll read about as follows, namely the MyRacer MF101, a portable gaming console that also has quite a taste for multimedia playback.
As you might know, portable gaming consoles such as the PSP and the Nintendo DS Lite are very popular around the world, since they allow users to enjoy both their favorite games and various multimedia content while being on the go. That also seems to be the case with the device from MyRacer, with the notable exception that we don't know exactly what types of games it will be able to play (presumably, flash games or who knows, perhaps even ported SNES titles?).
However, the manufacturers seem to be a little bit more “generous” as far as the details related to the multimedia playback capabilities are concerned. Hence, apparently, the device will be able to support a wide range of multimedia formats, as for example AVI, MP3, WMA, WAV, JPEG and BMP, the files being stored either on the 1 GB of internal memory or on SD cards.
Additionally, the device also sports a 2.4-inch, 320 x 240 pixels resolution display, while the control system is formed out of two pads, placed on either side of the display, which makes it quite easy for users to navigate the menus and play games.
Although it's far from the level of popularity enjoyed by its Sony or Nintendo counterparts, the MyRacer MF101 portable gaming console will by no means be a very cheap product. Apparently, this thing sells for the Korean-equivalent of around 100 US dollars, which is not that bad a deal, given its features. The only issue is that of availability, since it's very unlikely that you'll ever going to see this thing in stores outside of Korea (or Asia).
