You can say a lot of things about NEC (most of them good) but “lazy” is definitely not one of them. If you've been following my stories (I hope you have), you have probably noticed a lot of NEC releases in the past weeks. Well, if you thought it was through with its releases, think again, for it has just announced two more very interesting displays. Keep on reading to find out the full story and some premium-type specs.
Dubbed P401 and P461, these professional-grade LCD displays measure 40 and 46 inches, respectively. They have advanced features such as control, diagnostic and communication management tools (NaviSet included), Ethernet connectivity, video wall capabilities (TileComp, TileMatrix and so on), AmbiBright technology that you already know offers perfect lighting no matter how good or poorly lit the environment may be. Other specs include 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution, as well as a contrast ratio of 3000:1 for the P401 and 4000:1 for the P461.
Let us see what Keith Yanke, Director of Product Marketing for NEC Display Solutions, has to say (yet again) about the latest release, “NEC’s new MultiSync Professional Series offers full HD resolution, complete connectivity options and total input flexibility. […] The P401 and P461 provide an abundance of advanced features and technologies, making them the perfect solution for areas requiring the highest level of display management, powerful images and robust design.”
The P401 and P461 will be ready to ship in July 2009 and will be priced at 1,999 USD and 2,299 USD, respectively. You will also be getting a range of optional accessories such as the video wall color calibrator, stand, speakers and so on. With so many Full High Definition displays on the market, choosing one is quite a feat, isn't it?
